In the previous post I talked about blogging the better way,
where I highlighted some things to avoid while blogging. I talked about how one
can improve the traffic reception to their website and now I want to talk about
redesigning an existing web site to appear decent. Many people never think that
the appearance of their site determines their rank on search engines. If you
are a adsense user you must have read about the webmasters landing policy which
defines the site layout ad design. Poorly designed sites will rarely show up on
search engines. Now maybe yours is poorly designed or you designed it in a
hurry, you can take my advice and consider redesigning it if at all you ever
wanted to continue rising on search engine results.
Redesigning is not easy since the site might have a lot of
content accumulated over time. This means that it may be down during the
redesign period which is a loss or that some content may be lost in the
process. It is therefore advisable that before taking such action one considers
the expenses they will incur. Sometimes
one may think of hiring companies like Hawaii
website design, Honolulu among many others. This assures them that the site
will still be up and running while people are redesigning it.
One can also opt to take time to analyze the site from
scratch and do the design again. This requires knowledge in markup and
scripting languages like php, html, xhtml, javascript among many others.
The choice is yours; a sleek smart design or a poorly
designed site.
