GAINING BACK-LINKS

We are on a roll. In the previous post we talked about how important it is to redesign a website or a blog in case it had a bad looking appearance. It is true visitors can be attracted to come back by the appearance of a site. The design can sooth someone to trust the content there in. but today I want to highlight on a different thing all together leading to better blogging. This is link building. Probably you are new to it; I would like to help you understand. A link is a special text which directs a person to a certain file or web page when clicked. Visitors are able to track a website through following links.
Now, one will ever know about your site unless they are directed there by someone. Since most of the web developers and website owners do not have enough money to woo visitors through advertising they are only left with one good option for getting traffic; Search engine optimization. How do search engines identify and rank a website?

One of the ways they do this is by analyzing the number of websites which link to that particular website. The more links a website has, the more search engines value it. So you see the trend here: They think that by having more people pointing to this particular site then there must be useful content. All of know about Wikipedia. Now supposing you had your own site with such great content as in Wikipedia and then there is no one linking to your site, Do you think you will feature anywhere on search engines?

By no means, It is therefore an important activity to undertake; Building back links.
There are several ways you can do it. One of them is by contacting other website owners and requesting them to link to your site. Of course this is good but mostly people do it for the same in return. Two you can hire link building servicecompanies to do the research and provide links for you.
Three you can do what I saw some people do, though it is just similar to the first option.
Last week I received a mail from a certain company who were asking me to give them a back link. Now I thought it is just someone who had stumbled at my site and thought of doing it only to realize the same copy of Email on my other dormant website. You can look for websites on the internet and ask people to link back to you. You will remember the phrase that "Little by little piles in time to make much"
Indeed you will be surprised to find millions of links pointing to your site. Go ahead now, and please remember to link back to us.
